At a glance

  • We collect as little personal data as possible.
  • No accounts, no logins, no advertising trackers.
  • Maps and images load from third-party services; we link to official sites.

Our approach

Love Riga is a content site — a set of travel guides to Riga. There are no user accounts, no logins and no comment system, so we collect as little personal data as possible. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we receive

If you email us (for example to report something outdated), we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message, and we keep it only as long as needed to respond and to fix the issue you raised.

Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may log basic technical request data — for example IP address, browser/user-agent string, and the URL requested — for security, abuse-prevention and reliability. This is standard server operation rather than profiling.

  • Email you send us: stored only to reply and to action corrections.
  • Server/CDN logs: basic request metadata for security and reliability.
  • No marketing profiles, no ad networks, no cross-site advertising trackers.

Maps, images and third-party services

Our interactive maps load map tiles and related assets from a third-party map-tile service when you open a map view. Hero and thumbnail photos are loaded from third-party image hosts. Making those requests means your browser shares your IP address and basic request metadata with those providers as part of normal web operation.

We also link out to third-party websites — official tourism boards, transport operators and venue pages — so you can verify time-sensitive details. Once you follow an external link, that site's own privacy practices apply, and they are outside our control.

Analytics and changes to this policy

If the site owner enables privacy-respecting analytics in the future, this page will be updated to explain exactly what is collected and why. If anything material about how we handle data changes, we'll reflect it here and update the review date at the foot of the page.
